Dojo Name
We have received our official Dojo name. Our dojo is now Masamunekan Dojo. KAN simply means "house" and all Yoshinkan Dojos typically end with KAN. Masamune is the name of Japan's greatest swordsmith.

Online Store
To promote our dojo, we have created an online store where t-shirts, hoodies, mouse pad, coffee mugs, and ball caps can be purchased with our logo printed on the items. The dojo does receive a commission for every sale, so help out the dojo and make a purchase or two!

New Instructor.
We welcome Sensei Steve Nickerson to our dojo and we are pleased to announce that Saint John Aikido is now associated with Makotokan Dojo.

change
in
the
style
of
Aikido.
Our
new
style
is
Yoshinkan.
Aikido holds that the mind and the body are one. We need not struggle against an opponent's strength. If we lead their mind, their body will follow. To lead one must be calm, relaxed, and in control of his or her own mind and body.
